There is no edgewear at all, no bumped corners, no fraying. Tight binding and clean, unmarked text and illustrations. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Well-known author, admired by P. G. Woodhouse and compared to Dickens offers more short stories here, but none as macabre as his famous, "The Monkey's Paw," ; B&W Illustrations; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 290 pages .
