Beautiful book in Library Binding, spine reinforced with library tape. Very good condition. Chapters on Tropical, Temperate-zone, Eagle, Male, Female, Maidenhair, Black Maidenhair, Scale, Hart's-Tongue, Blechnum, Royal and Filmy FERNS. Also the Polypody, and a chapter just for Lovers of Ferns. This series was very well done, and the books are delightful. The photography very nice. Our book number 36033.

Aside from the usual library markings, the book is clean and the pages secure and clean. Old-fashioned embossed library stamp on title page. Chapters include DRUPES, BERRIES, FOLLICLES, PODS, CAPSULES, ACHENES and THE FRUITS WE EAT. Black and white photographs throughout. One of our original purchases years ago at that first library sale.
