Dante's political concern was clearly for the unification of Italy though his overall view of government and monarchy has a much broader concern. Here is one of the more scarce items on his thought--the originals are in the Biblioteca Nazionale centrale di Roma (and the Marciana). Bound in stiff brow paper wraps lettered in silver. A very nice copy with just a few wrinkles to wraps.
