Unclipped d/j (slightly creased in protective sleeve), brown boards, gilt spine titling bright, Text block firm but slight forward lean; pages unmarked (top edge black).. 8vo (230 x 150 / 9"" x 6""). Set internationally and spanning three decades, Daniel Martin is, among other things, an exploration of what it is to be English. In a richly evoked narrative, Daniel travels home to reconcile with a dying friend, and also to visit his own forgotten past in an attempt to discover himself.
