New York: Tudor Publishing Co., 1969. First American edition. Hardcover. Very Good-/very good. light wear to tips, corners and edges of book and jackets (paper and acetate overlay) book is cocked. From 1948 Raymond Oliver, a Cordon Bleu graduate, was the owner of Le Grand Vefour on the Rue de Beaujolais in the Palais-Royal district. The restaurant was founded in 1874. Six years after Oliver bought the restaurant, it was awarded the prized third star by the Michelin Guide, one of only a handful of kitchens that were so honored at that time."
