Very Good +/No jacket as issued. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 2 volumes bound in 1. 12mo.,[vol.1] vi, 414, [vol.2] 434pp. Bound in full calf, with boards double ruled in gilt, and spine compartments heavily decorated in gilt. Title on black morocco label on spine. Spot-marbled end papers, with matching marbling on text block edges. (Binding signed by Sotheran Sackville St., London). Minor edge wear to the boards. Front board hinge expertly repaired. Internally bright and clean. A Very Good copy, handsomely bound.
