About This Item
Some 30,000 years ago human art arrived on the scene with a sudden bang. Why did people suddenly begin drawing animals, human figures, abstract signs on the walls of caves? And how is the appearance of cave paintings and engravings related to social changes and community life in the Cro-Magnon? Based on years of research, these are some of the questions Pfeiffer addresses in this interesting book. His answers lead to a new hypothesis.
The book is in good condition. Pages are clean, bright and unmarked, with no markings or writings, very minor browning. Cloth boards clean and tight. DJ is very good: unclipped, some creasing in the flaps and shelfwear at the top including a very small tear (see photos). A wealth of colour and black & white illustrations. All now protected in professional clear book wrapper.
