While there are other books about covered bridges, this book is about the Covered bridges of New England only. Many of these bridges, since this publication, have not survived. The images of these bridges are all that is to remind us of their life. Bound in brown suede over boards, spine lettered and decorate in gilt, marbled endpapers.
