Three volumes with continuous pagination. 878 pp. Frontispieces. Plates. Three-quarto morocco stamped cloth over plain cloth, gilt titles to spines. Light shelfwear, a few minor nicks, corners lightly bumped, small dampspot to front cover of Volume I, moderate toning to interiors. $150. * This study features numerous biographies and a great deal of detailed information on the early legal history of the state. Eastman also published a fourth volume. Subtitled "The Bench and Bar," it is a comprehensive collection of biographies of Pennsylvania lawyers and judges in practice in 1922.
