New York: Covici-Friede, 1929. limited edition. hardcover. Very Good. Small quarto, approx. 9 1/2" tall. Green cloth spine over floral paper-covered boards. ix [3] 349 pages plus colophon. Black amd white frontispiece portrait of Aaron Burr. This edition limited to 500 numbered copies of which this is number 239. Offsett browning io endpapers, light creasing on rear free endpaper. Includes an appendix: Correspondence of Joseph Alston relating to Theodosia's death. Plain paper dust jacket is browned, chipped, and with tears, and missing most of spine. Book covers have some slight wear at corners, but a very attractive copy. Printed on machine-made Bay Path Text from Typography by S. A. Jacobs at the Composing Room of the Stratford Press where the Presswork is done and the whole made into a bound book by the American Book Bindery Inc. New York. Scarce. 092717A
