Hartford, CT: The Publishing Society of Connecticut, 1904. First edition, 1904. Clean and sound four volume set illustrated throughout in black and white. Blue cloth lettered and decorated in gilt, top edges gilt, 9.25 inches tall. Very good condition with very light rubbing to the extremities, good hinges, firm text blocks, some darkened silhouettes to the endpapers of the first volume from old clippings being kept there, pages otherwise very clean, no names or other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
