Normal shelf wear for book over fourty years of age with corresponding wear to top-edge. Unclipped ($10.95) jacket shows shelf wear, small crease and chip on front and upper back. Print code 11/80 on back jacket flap. Jacket protected with removable mylar cover. Crichton's fifth novel (under his own name) follows an expedition looking for diamonds in the rainforests of the Congo; and investigating the mysterious deaths of the prior expedition. Made into a 1995 movie that had bad reviews (and several Golden Raspberry Awards) the film still grossed $152M worldwide. 5.75x8.5 in. Including References, 348 pg.
