About This Item
New York: International Music Co., 1962. Sheet Music. Fine. 9" x 12. [International # 2067] Russian composer Handoshkin (1747-1804) composed his Concerto for Viola and String Orchestra in 1801. This viola/piano version is edited by Joseph Vieland and includes an informative preface by Waldo Lyman. MOVEMENTS: [I] Allegro moderato; [II] Canzona. Andante; [III] La Chasse. Allegretto. NOTE: All three movements contain cadenzas. The parts: 10+19 pages. CONDITION: The Fine full score and part are bright, solidly-bound, unmarked and uncreased, with negligible shelf-wear. This beautiful set is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
