London. George Rutledge and Sons. 1887. Bound in cloth covered boards. Gilt titles to spine. t.e.g. Tall Folio (12" x 15.75"). The Large Paper Edition, limited to 800 numbered copies of which this is number 108 signed by the engraver and printer, Edmund Evans. With a preface by Austin Dobson. Illustrated throughout with full page colour plates by Caldecott and further duotone vignettes en texte. Covers well rubbed. Corners bumped. Shadow remnants of adhesive tape to several portions of spine. Evidence of repair to several tears of spine cloth. Ffep chipped. This copy lacks pages and plates: 185-188, 276-277, 343-344. All plates clean and crisp.
