Early edition of Walton's classic (1836), a neat tight copy re-bound in modern red leather with no titles or decoration, new endpapers, 320 pages, browning to prelims, frontispiece portrait of Walton with slight browning to edges, title page has small ink mark, words and music to the 'Angler's Song', plates of Amwell Hill and Walton's House, Fleet Street, dust to edges, internally generally very good with many engravings (browning to edges which occasionally affects the text without obscuring). 12-page appendix, followed by index.. Hardcover. Good.
