About This Item

London: Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK), 1932. . 32 pages, first issued in 1925. After the 1925 epilogue by W K L Clarke, this undated printing contains a note dated 1932 regarding the "Prayer Book as proposed in 1928", and undoubtedly, like that volume, parts of the booklet represent a weakening of the Protestantism of the teaching of the post-Reformation Church of England in an attempt at a middle or unifying way with the "Catholic" element, whether Anglo- or Roman. Scarce.. Pamphlet. Average.
