Charlottesville, Va: Published by James Alexander, 1839. Unbound. Fair. Single issue. Octavo. P.[5], 346-400. Printed blue wrappers. Old notes on cover ("For Dr. Hale" in pencil, over a previous presentation (" ? Intelligencer"). Old canvas strip reinforcing the spine (and splitting), some chipping on front wrap, and corners of pages creased, a fair copy. Contents on front wrap including original poetry, essays, article on William and Mary College, list of recent graduates. List of subscribers on the rear wrap (for about 30 copies). Literary magazine issued by the students of the University of Virginia. Very uncommon.
