Spine gone; otherwise generally quite a nice copy of a hard to find piece of sexual etymological scholarship. See Graesse, Vol. II, p. 410, col 1. Rose 1404, "suppressed and very rare". In French [one page in Latin]. A strange and oddly precious paperback production from 1835, written anonymously by a member of l'Academie de Blois, on the origins of the word "cuckold". Avec des Notes et Pieces Justificatives Par un Membre de L'Academie de de Blois [De Petigny] Augmente de Origine du Cocuange.
