Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Binding is weakened. Heavy dog-eared corners in places. Scratches to front pastedown. Pen inscriptions to front endpapers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Some sunning to spine and edges. Mild crushing to spine ends.
Synopsis
The Clayhanger Family is a series of novels by Arnold Bennett, published between 1910 and 1918. Though the series is commonly referred to as a "trilogy", it consists of four books; the first three novels were released in one single volume as The Clayhanger Family in 1925.
