Philadelphia: Smith & Peck, 1845. 6.5 x 8.2 cm. The preface is written in rhyme that gives descriptions of each site and the corresponding plate. 191pp. (1) pp. ad at rear, illustrated with 48 illustrations which includes the title page. Bound in green pictorial gilt cloth depicting firemen putting out a building on fire, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges gilt, previous owner's bookplate, a couple tiny nicks to head. A very nice copy.
