Vol 2 includes Edward the Confessor, The Crusaders, Thomas a Becket & Sir Thomas More. 471 Pages. Vol 3 includesd Luther, Henry VIII, Mary & Elizabeth. 472 Pages. Vol IV deals with the Anglican Church from Jame I to the Victorian Period, which includes St. Newman and the Oxford movement. 484 Pages. Blue cloth covers with embossed decoration and bright Gilt Lettering to fronts & spines. Page edges speckled Red. 9 1/2" Tall. No inscriptions except a few penciled bookseller notes on endpapers. Slight edge wear, mainly at tips of corners and spine ends. Hinges sound & Bindings firm. Pages in nice clean condition, slightly age darkened.
