[Children's Games] Puzzle Blocks. [Germany?]: [No publication information] [Circa 1860-1880?] Twenty wooden blocks in pasteboard box 15.5 x 19.4 cm. Five separate color illustrations. 13.7 x 15.5 cm. (plus one on top of box). Tape repair to box hinge. Some wear to blocks. Very good.
OCLC shows no holdings. One of the illustrations (Blind Man's Bluff) is a version, slightly reduced, of one of the illustrations on a set of "Cubic Metamorphosis" blocks produced in Nuremberg in 1850-1860. There is a label on the inside of the box for the retailer: "From Millington, 122 Sixth Avenue, between 9th and 10th Streets." Further research may locate the retailer.Reviews
