New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1972. First U.S. edition and first printing. Hardcover. The follow up to Dahl's wildly popular books "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Includes illustrations by Joseph Schindelman. A near fine in illustrated paper covered boards with a cloth spine but with a tiny tear and a small crease to the top of one page and in a near fine dust jacket with some very minor wear. A very nice copy of this classic.

Synopsis

Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator is a children's book by British author Roald Dahl. It is the sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, continuing the story of young Charlie Bucket and eccentric candymaker Willy Wonka as they travel in the Great Glass Elevator. Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator was first published in the United States by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc. in 1972, and in the UK by George Allen & Unwin in 1973.
