A black cat in sporting attire, including a red tartan cap and breeches, sits on a stool fishing at the riverside. In fine condition. This painting is illustrated in the end credits of the 2022 biographical film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, directed by Will Sharpe and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Claire Foy, Sharon Rooney, Andrea Riseborough and Toby Jones. Unpaginated, with two additional fold-out leaves tipped in.
