[Exeter, United Kingdom: Sunstone Press, 1987. Unbound. Fine. First edition, broadside issue. 28 quarto sheets, each offset printed on stiff, cream-colored paper measuring 8¼" x 11¾". A series of 28 separate broadside poems by Ted Hughes, each with a color illustration of animals by R.J. Lloyd. All 28 broadsides are present and in fine condition. The first publication by the Sunstone Press, founded by Ted Hughes and R. J. Lloyd. Each broadside was printed in an edition of 200 copies (unnumbered, as issued), published in May, 1987, preceding the book publication of the same title, which was published in September, 1987. The broadsides were issued at 450 Pound Sterling for the set in May, 1987, or at 20 Pound Sterling for each individual broadside poem. This set of broadsides is from the estate of Ted Hughes, and it was donated to raise funds for a literacy and reading charity. Rarely encountered in the complete set of 28 broadsides. *OCLC* lists a single holding of the complete set.
