Blanche McManus. 1923, New Edition, book provides a history of the old Touraine and Loire Valley area of France. 347 pages, heavily illustrated with black and white and some color illustrations, color frontispiece with tissue guard, 2 folding maps, illustrated end papers. Book is near Fine, tight and square, sharp points, with no previous owner name or bookplate. Publisher's bright clean grey cloth, bright gilt palace scene with blue and red floral border to front board, gilt title to spine as well. Verry nice and clean copy. Top edge gilt. Protected in a custom mylar sleeve.
