In the Vanessa Bell illustrated dustwrapper. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, the spine and gilt titles a little faded. The contents, with the small bookplate of poet Fanny deGroot Hastings to the front pastedown, slight offsetting to the endpapers, and one tiny mark to the text block fore edge, are otherwise clean and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the original lightly rubbed and nicked price clipped dustwrapper which is toned to the spine. A posthumous collection of Woolf's essays, on subjects ranging from Thomas Hardy to the cinema. Published on the 11 May 1950 in an edition of 10,000 copies.
