Cincinnati: The John Church Company, 1911. 1st ed.[?]. Paperback. Fine. modest rectangular image on first page, 7p. plus publisher's adverts on final page. 31 cm. Coleridge-Taylor met when Dunbar when the poet was in London in 1897. Dunbar allowed Coleridge-Taylor to set some of his poems to music and Coleridge's Taylor's "African Romances" was published later that year. The two collaborated on "Dream Lovers, " an operatic romance, in 1898. This piece of sheet music comes from neither of these collaborations and, with a copyright date of 1911, was published five years after Dunbar's death.
