About This Item
Toronto: Gage Educational Publishing. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1970. Hardcover. 512 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in orange and white boards. Light bumping to bottom fore-corners. Tiny bit of glue remains along inside top edges. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket has darkened on the spine, edges and folds, but has only light edge wear. Not price clipped. A collection of 49 stories and poems for children, by a wide variety of international and Canadian writers. Although it is numbered Book 6 on the title page, the jacket notes three books in the series called "Big Books for Young Canadians" of which this is book three. Possibly the book was issued originally as a school text, then again aimed at the general public. May require extra postage due to weight of book. .
