Original black paper-covered slip box with closing latch with photo image of Man Ray on title label of latch and gallery label pasted to inside folding wing, signed by G. Ray Hawkins. Interior lined with black felt.
Exquisite production for the tenth anniversary of the G. Ray Hawkins Gallery. Many Ray was chosen for this project due to him being the fartist exhibited in the inaugural exhibition of the gallery in 1975. Of the thirteen objects comprising this extraordinary publication venture, the Lapel button with Man Ray self portrait is missing.
