Preliminary pages include "C. Cpornelli Taciti Vita, Honores et Scripta". Main Text: ANNALIUM, libri xvi; HISTORIARUM, Libri v; DE MORIBUS Germanorum, Liber I; DE VITA, AGRICOLAE; DIALOGUS. Illustrated with Woodcut Initials, Tailpieces etc. 547 pages + Index Alphabeticus & Index Rerum Ac Verborum Quae His Commentariis Continentur. Followed by Title Pgae, dated 1667, for "IUSTI LIPSI DISPUNCTIO NOTARUM MIRANDULANI CODICIS, 35 pages. and "C. VELLEIUS PATERCULUS cum ANIMADVERSIONIBUS IUSTI LIPSI, (title page dated 1667).84 pages + Index. Contemporary Vellum Binding with 7 raised bands to spine. Gilt Design of 2 Griffins holding a wreath over a man with a club, on front & back. 15" Tall, 3.1 Kilos. 3 small pieces of vellum missing from front (see photos). 2 small holes from insect damage near the bottom of front board. 3 Corners worn. Closed tear across bottom of title page and previous owner's name at the top (see pghoto). No other inscriptions. Some faint brown staining on ,most pages (see photos).
