Theakston's Scarborough Guide comprising a brief sketch of the antiquities, natural productions and romantic scenery of the town and neighbourhood, c1850, Third Edition, 176pp, adverts, original red blind stamped cloth titled in gilt with 2 fold-out maps and illustrated with 38 woodcuts. Maps dated 1845. Cover soiled; binding loose where book apparently was laid flat; spine repaired but complete. Overall the book is VG-.
