Seattle: Cloudcap, 1994. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. As New/As New. 1994 FIRST PRINTING of FIRST USA Edition. SIGNED by Alan Burgess and by Adrian Burgess on the title page in black pen. Original light yellow cloth, black lettering spine. The book is in new condition having been purchased directly from the publisher and kept in climate controlled storage for years. The book was signed by the Burgess twins for the publisher. I was told by the publisher that only one box of the book was signed by both of them. Examples signed by both are very uncommon since they have been rarely together at public events. Most double-signed copies are those inscribed to friends, family, and acquaintances. The book measures 235mm tall x 15mm, and has 463 pages, 26 b/w & 23 color photos. Account of climbs (Alps, UK, Canada, Logan's S Buttress, McKinley's Cassin Spur, FitzRoy, Huascaran, K2, Everest, Dhaulagiri, Cho Oyu, Manaslu, Lhotse Shar, Annapurna IV, etc.) & escapades worldwide by the notorious climbing twins. Beer, birds, ale & ascents, the twins have the advantage of two brains from which to salvage one memory from the pub. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL ITEM BEING OFFERED.
