First printing stated, near fine cloth hardcover showing a light bit of soil at page edges, in very good jacket (price at flap) showing wrinkles at top corners of both inner flaps, alogn with some edge wear including a few short closed tears. 349 pages. Attractive copy of this work of fiction that takes place in New York city written under the adopted Hunter name and pseudonym by Salvatore A. Lombino.
Synopsis
Mister Buddwing is a 1966 American film about a well-dressed man who finds himself on a bench in Central Park with no idea of who he is. He proceeds to wander around Manhattan meeting women as he desperately tries to figure out his own identity. Based on the 1964 novel Buddwing by Evan Hunter, the evocatively shot black-and-white drama with a lively jazz musical score was written by Dale Wasserman, and directed by Delbert Mann.
