Pp. xiv, 258; xix, 268, 124 fine hand-colored lithographed plates. Publisher's original wine red pebble cloth, spine gilt-lettered and with elaborate gilt floral decorations, front covers with gilt-pictorial image of moths, 4to. The fine hand-colored plates display the moths next to the plants and flowers they inhabit.
