About This Item

anticat16. Glasgow: A. Fullarton, 1837. First edition. 12mo. Original green printed boards. Spine mostly chipped away, both covers are detached; inscription on the front fly leaf dated 1838, a very good copy otherwise. Ebenezer was evidently a sickly child. Much of the book is instructional, indicating how parents might best use the Bible's lessons in the raising of their children. Another edition was published by Maclehose in 1841.
