In addition to the translation, Bedford-Jones adds a 3 page postscript to the Soulie de Morant preface. Gift Inscription in ink, "Lad from Annia, Nov. 10. 1927-1933" on front endpapers. One of the most famous novels of China, written toward the end of the 14th century by an author who used the pen name Ming-tsiao Chong-jen.. First edition of this translation.NOTE: dj is photocopy, not original.
