The complicated plot involves two chums from Harvard who set out for Oregon and come into contact with the famous Kit Carson. Note: the phrase "bit the dust" was first used in a dramatic description of a wild Indian fight. Though missing the front cover, all is readable, corners clipped and edgewear - browned paper.
