Cubberley, about whom we can find no additional information. Original poster for an exhibition of naval aircraft at Philadelphia's Commercial Museum in 1919. Various aircraft are depicted in flight. Possibly done in-house for the museum, we have only seen or heard of one other example (on blue paper), and presume it to be rare.

Aldrin was the second man to walk on the Moon and in this memoir he tells the story of America's race with the Russians to the moon as seen from inside NASA.

He was appointed to devise improved systems of detection, communication and control. A system to be called the Metropolitan Observation Service was created which covered the London area and was known as the London Air Defence Area.On 29 October 1925 the Observer Corps came into official existence. First Edition. oblong format, 144 pages illustrated with black and white halftone photographs, and a map, original gray cloth, hardcover, good condition (lower right corner of front cover slightly bumped, minor shelf wear to lower spine, not affecting contents which are clean and complete).

This is a unit history, with many photos of the Eastleigh U. S. Navy repair base in England during World War I; its officers and men. There are many photos of early military aircraft, and an essay on "Liberty Twelves" and "DeHavilands."
