Publisher's card covers. A lovely fine copy, the binding square and tight, the contents clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Inscribed by the author in black ink on the the title page "Aideen's book / with best wishes / Paul Farley / Middlesborough 98", the author has later inscribed the book again crossing out Aideen and adding at the top of the page "Pat's book / London / 9.vii.09". Winner of the Forward Prize for best first collection. Provenance: from the library of the multi-award winning poet Pat Borthwick.
