About This Item
NEW YORK: Dodd Mead, 1886. First American Edition . Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. First Printing. From the recently auctioned collection of M. B. Goldstone--with his penciled signature to the front free endpaper. Goldstone was an esteemed collector of early 20th century fiction--auction tag tipped in. A handsome copy in green cloth with gilt lettering to the front cloth board and spine as called for. A sturdy tight copy with normal overall age toning to the extremities at the corners and head and heel--otherwise would be fine. Tight spine and hinges. Some glue residue to the binding at the title page. A wonderfully collectible copy--scarce title.
