About This Item

London: George Bell & Sons, 1874. [With] The Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century, Wordsworth to Tennyson (published 1877). These two volumes, evidently produced as gift books, are uniformly bound with decorated morocco spines (a little faded and worn) and thick beveled boards of tree calf that is highly polished to mimic wood. The front board of each is decorated with a gilt border surrounding the title; all edges gilt. Excellent condition.
