Printed in two column rom,an type. Closed tear to page 33. Bound with: Hymns of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America. New-York: Caleb Bartlett, 1830. 43 numbered pages + index & tables (Hymns) + 3 rfep. Pages unusually bright and clean. All page edges brightly gilt. Bound in full brown calf with gilt and blind stamped decorative borders to front and rear boards and extensive gilt decoration and red spine label with gilt "Prayer" on spine. Hinges starting, and old tissue repair to front hinge. One blue silk ribbon marker present. A particularly well preserved early American BCP in an unusually finely decorated binding.
