Philip Allan, 1930. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1930. First Edition. 232 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with other plates throughout, some photographic. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, heavier to front and rear of textblock, but text remains clear. Plates are brighter. Binding is firm. Faint inscriptions to front endpapers. Deckled bottom edge to textblock. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Mild crushing to spine ends, with visible splitting to head. Gilt remains bright. Heavy rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking also.
