Book Interior NEAR FINE / Covers Good. Bottom pages edges uncut. Covers are tan now, perhaps white when issued, quite a thin paper for a cover, lettering navy, pictorial front, ad for Swan Vestas Matches on back. Spine is straight, square, solid, quite age darkened but text is legible, bottom 2 1/4 inches has quite a bit of age darkening, top 2 inches has some wrinkles and a few tiny rips but Number 1615 is perfectly legible, spine has some edge wear. Covers are flat, no rips, two old bent corners, no vertical creases beside spine, covers are quite age darkened but perfectly legible, front cover has small bits of miscellaneous light brown stain along parts of spine side and parts of bottom edge, other than that it is clear and unmarked, back cover has a thin brown line pretty much all the way up the spine side, has a few small ink numbers in upper left corner, has a number of light creases, has a small round stain or two, both covers have no holes, and are intact with minor edge wear. Page edges sunned. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, much brighter than the covers, pages are almost white, flat, no rips, no holes, no writing, even has original subscription form inside. Small bit of age darkening on edges of some pages. Not only fun to read but fun to look at the old advertisements for cars, etc. Articles include: Third Return, Search In A Toyshop, The Road To The Shore, Chinese Mission, Double-Entry, Miss Emmet, Dungeon Party, Comment.
