Colour illustrated dustwrapper with black, blue and red coloured titles to the front panel and black and red coloured titles to the back strip. Biggles has an adventure in British Guiana. There is no easily ascertained date of this book's printing, but on the verso of the rear panel it states "Made and printed in Great Britain by Purnell and Sons, Ltd, Paulton (Somerset) and London”, with an SBN of 603034020. Minor bumping of the lower book corners with softening of the back strip edges stop tanning of the text block edges and pages.
