London: printed for the author [probably by William Bowyer], 1747. Folio. pp. 12, plus portrait frontispiece of Gibbs engraved by Bernard Baron after Hogarth and 21 architectural plates engraved by Paul Fourdrinier; lacking the portrait of Radcliffe engraved by Fourdrinier after Kneller. Very light marginal waterstaining to one or two of plates, which include interior and exterior views and elevations of the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford, sections through its structure and details of the ornamentation. 20th century half calf, probably interwar, upper joint cracked. Built to house the Radcliffe Science Library and now part of the Bodleian, the Radcliffe Camera opened in 1749. ESTC T21607 Book
