London: Sotheby's, 1975 4to (28 cm), 92 pp. Printed wrappers. Price list loosely inserted. Auction catalogue of 10th portion of new series of sales of manuscripts from the library of Thomas Phillipps, an English antiquary and book collector who amassed the largest collection of manuscripts in the 19th century. Lots 814-850 including Josephus' De Bello Judaico in Greek (11th century), Missal (Germany, first half of 12th century), Bestiary (Germany, second half of 14th century), Gaston de Foix'Livre de Chasse (South Flanders, 15th century), The Freudenberg Breviary (Bavaria, 1487). The sale was conducted in London on 26 November 1975.
