London: Rupert Hart-Davis, 1963. First edition. Hardcover. near Very Good/good +. 8vo. Pp 399 + frontis and 9pp monochrome plates. Claret buckram boards stamped in gilt on the spine. A volume in the Soho Bibliographies series. An ex-library copy with the usual stampings otherwise a clean unmarked copy in a tight binding. Soiled dust-jacket is chipped and rubbed at the extremities and has a library label taped to spine and a library printed address sticker in the centre of the upper panel.
