This important work is profusely illustrated with over seventy-five illustrations including pictures never before published of Maj. Gen. Theodore Stephenson (Arnold's great-grandson), Maj. David s. Franks (Arnold's military aide), and many others. The author spent ten years of research and his visits to the locations makes this the best-written and most important account on the nature of what Americans called treason but Canadians considered heroism. Inscribed by the author to the James D. Horan, the Western writer. Limited to 750 copies. Bound in maroon cloth centrally stamped in gilt and black of a bust of Arnold, spine and top edge gilt. A very nice copy.
